Since opening their doors, Fort Smith Animal Haven has aided and facilitated the adoption of nearly 11,000 animals and counting. Thousands of animals are no longer at risk, no longer on the street, and now have a forever home because of our organization. Full of passionate people working together towards a shared mission, Fort Smith Animal Haven is creating a brighter future for the animals of Fort Smith.

Bella Vista’s mission is to rescue and rehabilitate the lost and homeless animals of the City of Bella Vista.  They provide food, shelter and medical care for animals in need until they can be reunited or adopted into loving homes. These are animals that would otherwise be left to search for food and defend themselves against predators.

The Artemis Project is a volunteer-run, no-kill rescue based in Hackett, Arkansas, serving the underserved communities of the Arkansas/Oklahoma River Valley. Since 2020, they’ve rescued over 11,000 animals from dire situations, including overcrowded shelters, rural pounds, and abusive environments. But they don’t stop there. They rehabilitate them, find them loving homes, and work to prevent future suffering through spay/neuter programs and education.

Forgotten Paws of NWA was founded in 2023 in response to the growing crisis of abandoned and at-risk dogs in Northwest Arkansas. Our founders, longtime animal advocates, witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking reality of dogs being surrendered, abandoned, or facing euthanasia simply because they had nowhere to go.

What started as a small foster network has grown into a dedicated shelter in Tontitown, AR, where we provide immediate safety, medical care, and loving attention to dogs who have been overlooked or given up on.
